Set on the renowned Santa Eulália beach in Albufeira, the new five-star Grande Real Santa Eulália Resort & Hotel Spa is the first of Group Hoteis Real’s luxury properties. Enjoying a unique and privileged position on the Algarve coastline, the hotel greets guests with large green areas and landscaped gardens designed to create a stunning visual impact and resort-type ambience.
There are 189 deluxe rooms, including 27 suites, two Grande Real suites and 155 deluxe resort suites. Direct access to Santa Eulália beach means guests can enjoy all the amenities, such as restaurants, bars and nightlife.
An outstanding 1,200sqm spa features a thalassotherapy heated indoor swimming pool and a beauty centre with several treatment rooms. Other key attractions include four heated outdoor swimming pools, two tennis courts, and a children’s club. Groups and business travellers can make use of the 1,500sq m Convention Centre, home to a large ballroom area (which can be split up into nine small function rooms), five breakout rooms, a business centre and two large foyers.

Sample the sumptuous buffet and enjoy the fantastic sea views at the hotel’s main restaurant, Restaurante do Real. The fine dining option, Restaurante Pergula, serves regional and Mediterranean specialities. Bar do Real, in the lobby, has a terrace with stunning sea views, and serves beverages and snacks. Listen to some live music at the late-night option, Bar Mezanino. There are also three poolside bars serving refreshments.

Bathed by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, Albufeira is a cosmopolitan city boasting historical and cultural sites of interest, a marina, a variety of outdoor activities including water sports, and a mix of bars, restaurants and discos that come to life at sunset.
Groups may wish to discover some of Albufeira’s historical attractions, such as the 19th Century Clock Tower (a symbol of the city), and the charming 18th Century parish church built in neo-classical style. The remains of one of the towers of the old Castle Wall are of interest, as is the Arch of the Travessa da Igreja Velha, a beautiful example of Arab architecture.
