Day 1

• Arrival at Málaga Airport and pick your hire car

(Opel Corsa 5-door or similar) up at Niza Cars Office

(shuttle bus from Malaga Airport)

• Overnight in Benalmádena Costa, 12 km from the airport

ALAY HOTEL **** (or similar)

• In the evening you can have a nice walk along the promenade, and also

enjoy Puerto Marina nightlife.

Day 2

• After breakfast you will drive to Ronda, a historical town with the

oldest bullring in Spain. It is located at the end of a deep gorge, with

superb views. You can visit the old town centre and Santa María

Church. From Ronda to Xerez the routing goes via the “white

villages” to Arcos de La Frontera, and Xerez, a famous town well

known for its wine cellars (sherry) and its horses.

• Overnight in Xerez,

Day 3

• After breakfast you can visit one of Xerez famous “bodegas”

(González-Byass or Domecq), or even visit the Royal Horse School.

• After lunch, you will drive northwards to Seville (capital of

Andalusia), either through the toll-motorway (to save time) to

through the normal motorway (seeing the countryside)

• Overnight in Sanlúcar la Mayor (14 km outside Seville),

Day 4

• Day at leisure to discover the city of Seville: the Cathedral (with La

Giralda tower), the Reales Alcázares, María Luisa Park, Plaza de

España, and the old historical Santa Cruz quarter (with its narrow

streets and tapas-bars). You can also enjoy a night visit to a typical

Flamenco show

• Overnight in Sanlúcar la Mayor, at Solúcar Hotel **** (or similar)

Day 5

• After breakfast you will drive to Córdoba through Guadalquivir valley

(the longest river in Andalusia), In Córdoba (capital of Andalusia

during 800 years) you can visit its famous Mosque (the second

biggest one in the world) and Jewish Quarter, with the typical

“Andalusian patios”

• Overnight in Córdoba

ALFAROS HOTEL **** (or similar)

Day 6

• After breakfast you will drive to Granada passing lovely

countrysideand beautiful old towns as Baena.

• Once in Granada you can visit the Moorish part of the city, the

Alhambra and Albayzin Quarter

• Overnight in Granada

Day 7

• After breakfast you will drive to Antequera. On the way you can stop

and visit the town of Loja

• In Antequera you can see the gorgeous Torcal, the famous Dolmen

(tombs), or Menga Caves

• Overnight in Antequera

ANTEQUERA GOLF HOTEL **** (or similar)

Day 8

• Breakfast. If your flight leaves in the morning, drive back to Málaga

airport (approx. 48 km), and drop your car off. In case you have a

later flight, you can stop in Málaga to have a little visit of the capital

of Costa del Sol
